My Family Tree

I planned to put my Family Tree here, so that my children and grandchildren would know
where where they came from, but the tree kept growing (and growing) in different directions.
So far, I haven't figured out a way to put it up here.

So, where did it all begin?
It goes all the way back to people and places I haven't discovered yet, but to make things
simpler I will start here with my paternal grandfather.

My paternal grandfather  Ralph (Raffaele) Gerald Rose was born  JUN 1887
in San Fili, Calabria, Italy.  The Southern part of Italy down by the boot.
He also lived in Caserta, Italy.
He came here when he was around 21 years old.
He passed away on 13 MAR 1957 in Chicago, Illinois.

My paternal grandmother, Flora Matilda Tambone (originally Tammone) was born
on 23 APR 1889 in Trivigno, Italy. According to different census records her
arrival here to the states could be anytime from 1889-1896.
She passed away on 28 APR 1969.


My maternal grandmother, Mary Jane Milligan was born 2 SEP 1898 in Ayrshire, Scotland
and came here in 1906 when she was 8 years old.
She passed away on 3 FEB 1954 in Chicago, Illinois.

My maternal grandfather, Robert William Baird was born around 1900 in Scotland.
My mother's birth certificate stated that he lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
